It was a big day in my house yesterday. My son got his driver's license, my daughter got her braces off, and I found the bat that I whacked Sunday 3:00am before it started getting gamey.
Could sleep in today, but body stubbornly up at five anyway.

Six blue jaws feasting this morning. I’ve never seen that many here at once. All of the critters seem feisty today.
I’m yard watering. Everything is slowing down already. Strange summer.
Sounds like a wonderful big family day star. Years ago my cat-long deceased-brought a baby bunny in and hid it. It was an unpleasant gamey surprise when found.

Easing into my day with readings, coffee and critters. Little one usually sleeps until 7:00.
Day out with friend. I need some whatever normal was and a brief escape from home.

My bird feeders are attracting so much wildlife. Birds, squirrels, raccoons, deer. It's fun to watch, but the deer are very destructive of my plantings. I need to plant only things they don't like.
I never see more than one blue jay at a time. They seem to drive off others and claim territory. That must have been quite a pretty sight.
Mid shift today as I transition to mornings starting tomorrow.

Yes Imvalentine, internet users across the world reported problems with accessing some websites because of a major global outage this morning.
It was almost impossible to log on SR earlier...sooo...it was a good time to read my big book!
