Thanks Dee for the new thread. Went to bed early, hungry, woke up around 0400. Eating a couple apples to start the day. I love refrigerated apples.

Very humid for spring. Foggy and rainy.

2 forward 1 back with this housekeeping.

Fell asleep to AA Big Book audiobook.

Feeling well and I hope you are too!!!

Woke very late yesterday with no morning alone time and was cranky all day. I needed the sleep but now going to try and stick to my normal schedule. Closures have been extended thru the 17th here. I have cabin fever now that Iím feeling well and am itching to bust out of here.

Grocery pick up later today will be a big household event. I donít remember what I ordered 5 days ago!

Take care and stay safe.

Thanks Dee
Up at 7:30am bright sunshine outside a high of 8 forecasted. Think I'll spend some time in the back yard. Bust open the shed, fix up the gazebo, move some snow around....

Haha cold apples give me brain freeze...
Light gentle rain here, a little cold but good.
Thankfully I can still go to the stable and ride/look after my horse.
The yoga studio I go to is doing live stream video classes. Both of these things is helping to keep me sane.
That and my snuggly little dog.
Stay well everyone.

Glad you are feeling better Imvalentine.

Up at 2:15. Another night of just four hours sleep. My body refuses to adapt to rapid shift changes at my point in life. Thankfully, off tomorrow.

Have a good day all!

yes off with the beard until October. Normally I wear it during winter and after visiting down south I come home and shave it. Will wait for a haircut until the stylists are working....they will need customers.

Slept well. Down around 2100...up at 0500

Hopefully going to the Salvation Army's food pantry and a local market for basics. I might order a couple things online.

A bit of money to be had....but no alcohol in the plan.

When I was running (many years ago) I use to cut my own hair and keep it really short (aerodynamic?). I may consider going back to that until this is over.

Up at 5:35, I feel like I could use another nights sleep.

After years of trying I can't give myself a decent haircut and end up almost bald!

I slept well. Itís nice to have my peaceful morning with no early responsibilities.

Our grocery pickup went well but I miss wandering around looking. That might be part of the ďold daysĒ now. Strange world we live now.
Iím starting to look like a grey wild haired loon myself. Hair bandeaus might become popular.

Stay healthy and safe everyone.

So I guess we have another month + of social distancing mandates...
How is everyone holding up?
I never made it to grocery shop this weekend.
I may try today but will see.
Stay well.

I do know what bandeaus are...and the ones from the 20s shaped like swans and crystals are my favorite.

My son works for a major airline and with good authority thinks normal air traffic won't be going until June 1st.

Went to the Salvation Army's food pantry and to Pick and Save. I have plenty of food and I'm so grateful...earlier last week I went to another pantry and store too.

I got anxious going to the store today not knowing what to expect...will there be lines? Should I be wearing a mask? Keep my distance? What if I need to cough? What if someone is a carrier without symptoms? on and on and on.

Everything was pretty normal except for sneeze shields, signs on floors, some empty shelves....it was a store I don't normally shop at....very nice beautiful store...but I didn't feel at ease.

So glad I'm dealing with this being nice and sober instead of a drunken ass.

Ok....check back soon

Sat outside watching the critters squabble and eat. It is calming and reassuring that nature goes on. I do have to bust out of seclusion and buy bird seed. Also a therapist appointment this morning. I seem to draw negativity and downright hostility from friends on the phone. I know people are stressed but donít take it out on me. Maybe we all would benefit from contemplation outside ourselves.

Everyone take care and stay safe.

I noticed a marked attitude change for the worse among our shoppers yesterday. Tempers are starting to rise a bit, as people are finally realizing that this is the new norm for all of us.

Yesterday, I reposted an article on FB about how social distancing will save the US economy 8 trillion dollars. It used the government approved figure of 1.1 million dollars per life saved to calculate the final number. So hang in there all!

I made the comment to my friend after shopping that the grocery store was beautiful, but I sensed a tenseness among the shoppers and the cashiers. It was my first time shopping there. No matter what I give their workers
