Five degrees and snow Imvalentine? We had snow flurries the other day and that was a bit much. We were under a tornado watch much of the day yesterday, but thankfully none developed.

Yes, snow everyday until Saturday. The moisture is good for the ground but I hope the poppies survive. The largest batch I’ve had here were popping up. DIL naively thought of planting tomato seeds. We plant six inch high ones we buy the end of May. Growing season is only about 3 months here.
I’ve also been thinking about wiscsober. A sad reminder to be vigilant and stay home. I look forward to him posting and being well again.

Actually had a decent night's sleep.
I started to binge "The Wire" yesterday. It apparently was one of those shows that never received great ratings while it was on, but now is rated as one of the best written series ever.

The calm before the storm. 6 inches of snow now forecast tonight. I did go out for essentials yesterday and the store even had toilet paper. Snow doesn’t seem like a big imposition anymore.

Lots of debate going on here about whether to start allowing some businesses to reopen once again.
Up at 4:50 am for work.
Father in law is residing in a nursing home, where Covid is making a foothold. He has a fever and a cough. Skyped with him yesterday and he doesn't look good. Fingers crossed he can recover.

Quite a number of long term care homes are getting ravaged in various provinces. It's bringing to light a number of gaps in care. Sad.
Has anyone seen the moon this morning? A big orange cresent moon very low on the horizon.

The snow shovel will get a work out tomorrow. No stinking wind so it’s peaceful and serene. Much nicer when we are home anyway.
Hope your FIL gets good care Star. The news is frightening about nursing homes.
I missed the moon this morning. 2 year old Gdaughter is a moon and star watcher also.
