Early Risers Check-in Thread Pt 13
5:00 AM
Promptly turned phone alarm off and went back to sleep. I’m starting to appreciate this slow time in life. No schedule or appointments to keep has been freeing but the virus marches on and on.
Grocery order was missing a lot of basic things and I’m forcing myself out today to a different store. I will cover face...and pray for the best. Ordering is 6 days out at the good store.
Take care and stay safe.

Glad you were able to work through the HALTs Wisc. Running through HALTs was a big help for me in early sobriety.
My company had our first employee die from Corona. It is finally beginning to take its toll on the front line grocery store workers. Three others from other companies have passed also. This is real.
Be safe all!

Checking in missed a day or two....feel much better...just felt run down and not able to do much. Had no interest getting online. Which isn't the best since that's how I come to Sr. Got a nice homemade mask made and now can't find it. ...grrr ... I have a feeling it fell out of my pocket when I was smoking. Who knows. I have more being made.

Stocked up at the grocery store. Most people had their masks on and kept a safe distance. People were downtown protesting against the minimum restrictions placed here. Recreational areas are busy with mainly out of state visitors. Colorado needs to stay home!
A warm day ahead for yard work.
Stay well and safe.

I think all churches around here are going virtual for the holiday.
I wonder how long it will take people to get back to the old ways once this virus has run its course? For myself, I don't relish gathering in crowds anytime soon. It is challenging enough dealing with shoppers at work.
Have a good day all!

I really want to think this is the last of me going shopping or banking till everything is sounded clear.
Went to the bank Thu...drive in teller....thinking it is safer than lobby service...b ut the teller has no masks or gloves handling my check and cash back.
Went to the best grocery store here in Oshkosh and again the only safety is sneeze shields...wipe for carts.....I didn't see one person handling cash, stocking, distributors, nor deli wearing any kind of protection besides hairnet.
One janitor wearing gloves, no mask, mopping the floor.
What is wrong with these companies?
At home after ER and just going to stay here forever.

Wisc, I saw on another thread that you went back to the ER last night and tested positive for Covid. I saw they took your phone. Please know we are all thinking of you and hope for a speedy recovery from this virus.
It's disappointing that so many are not taking things seriously. Everyone, please wear a mask and gloves if you must go out anywhere. I have to be an essential/sacrificial worker. None of you guys need to be an intentional victim. Stay home unless you desperately need to get groceries.

Wiscsober sending good karma thoughts your way. We all want you to be well.
Enjoying sitting outside before our snow arrives. DIL has raked out areas under bushes and tree area that haven’t had care long before I moved in almost 3 1/2 years ago. I’m excited for spring to really arrive.
Please stay home and stargazer you are a superhero. Thanks for taking care of us all.

let see, up at 5:00 am, up at 6:30 am, up at 8:00 am. Brilliant sunshine but cold.
A little more sewing planned and maybe some puttering in the garage. I need top soil for my new garden and just realized, I may not be able to get it.
