Very scary star. Stay hunkered down and safe. The critters here have been noisier than usual recently. Reassuring they are always here doing their critter thing.
Gdaughter has slight fever yesterday at daycare so I am letting her sleep and stay home today. Her mother is back in alcohol chaos but not here except at night. She gets a ride from new friend and I guess goes to work. Who knows!
It affects the little one sadly. Bad vibes stink.

Got a good six to seven inches of rain in about three hours. Septic tank has pumped out enough water to be usable again. Had another tree come down in the back of the yard. 2020 has been quite the year.
Sorry DIL is back in the chaos Imvalentine. Hope grand daughter feels better.

Gdaughter fine and at daycare today. She needs the routine during this home chaos. DIL still going strong and the neighbors had quite a show yesterday evening. Gdaughter didn’t see it thank goodness. I’m hoping her bottom hits soon.
Enough of that! I am catching up with my routine around the house. Have a few errands to accomplish today.
My yard critters are very quiet this morning. Their routine is off also.

Bird activity is way down. I just read that it is molting season, where birds replace all their feathers before winter. Not being able to fly well during this time, they tend to silently hunker down in the vegetation.

I did not know this is molting season for birds. I have bought 2 books about crows that I’m looking forward to reading. I have a large to be read pile going.
Watering the yard and puttering around the house with Gdaughter today.
