Up late. Fireworks show was nice. The neighborhood show not so nice.

Thinking is sand....got a bit tired or wired last night before bed and the addict voice was loud and clear.

Got up around day break and hiked in a state park 25 miles from hear. Lots of beautiful birds around the marshes.

Going to be a hot day even here today.

Nice to be up earlier this morning. Watering the poor yard. It was 94 degrees yesterday and no rain in sight.
Planning a day of house cleaning and puttering.

Went outside for a smoke.

Up early and explored another beach in a state park that entailed a nature hike of about a third of a mile. Beautiful unspoiled beach. Lots of birds and wildlife. I believe I caught sight of an osprey flying off with a fish in its talons. I never get tired of watching the sun come up over the ocean. Just read that a comet is now visible to the naked eye this month. Will have to check it out.

Back home got quarter size hail and 4-6 inches of rain in the afternoon. We just got a steady rain over night down here.

Late riser past 6:30 this morning.
No relief in sight from hot weather. We don’t have much humidity so it is a dry heat. When I’ve been on the east coast or down south it feels like chewing air. It’s always something everywhere!

We are experiencing a tropical rain storm here this morning. They are calling for up to four inches of rain. Local streets are already flooding. I awoke at 5:00 am, but rolled over after hearing the rain.
