Good morning, my upstairs neighbor was stomping and banging around at midnight and woke me up. Hard time going back to sleep.
They tend to be noisy but this was bad. Actually put a direct but respectful note on their door this morning.
Ugh, well the joys of apartment life.

We lived in apartments growing up, I can remember Mom constantly telling us to walk softly and no banging our feet. It stuck with me and even today, I'm mostly a quiet fore-foot walker....

0646. I'm noise aware to being a dysfunctional point. Noise equaled conflict and anxiety when I was young. I think my dad would have been fine if he nor anybody talked all day.

59 years later and I'm still self-conscious about it.

Glad to be sober and recovering.

Hey gang, it's been awhile since I've posted. Adjusting to being retired. I haven't been spending much time at this desk (where the computer is). While working it was so convenient to get to work early to do my posts.

Congrats to all us early risers whom made it through the holidays unscathed. One drinking holiday after another. We each create a little light that helps to guide us all away from the darkness.

Ringo, I am glad that retirement is sitting well with you. I hope retirement affords you the opportunity to do things that you never had time for while working.

I love that the Packers are a publicly owned team. Back in the day, I owned a few shares, as well as a few shares of the Florida Panthers hockey team. It was interesting getting the annual reports from them.

Yes if not America's Team they are certainly our home team. It's been a good thing watching the games sober -- a lot easier on this old body. Going back down for a nap. I'm eating better.

Ringo, you are retired. You really don't need to get up at 0500 anymore. :)

Discombobulated this morning. I could have used more sleep for sure.
Work day and store run after. DIL off so little one will stay home. She has been tired also with new routine. Two years olds are not fun when tired!
