I was supposed to take Mrs D to the hospital for a procedure today but everything non-urgent has been cancelled. Things are slowly getting tighter. Our neighbor province has ordered all non-essential business to close.

Off today and slept for eleven hours over the course of the night. Nights of four hour sleeps caught up with me.

There was a weird vibe in the store yesterday. Customers and employees kind of looking at each other, silently wondering if you are the person that is going to infect me. My company is going to pay a bonus for hours worked the past month, which is a nice recognition of the dangers we face daily on the front lines.

Take care all!

Hi all, just checking in. Second full week of my new job and we are all still sheltering in place. Grateful I have the kind of work that can be done from home.
Many are not.
Hope everyone is well and staying calm (and sober).
Blessings

Morning Wiscscober!

Our grocery stores are giving their staff extra pay also, and advertising it too!

My company is temporarily closing down stores with Covid cases, disposing of the food, then deep cleaning and restocking before reopening. Crew are quarantined for two weeks and get paid for scheduled hours. I can't see many stores being left open if this strict regimen is adhered to. If all companies follow such a regimen, there will be few food stores left open in a month. But safety is of the utmost concern.

Up and down being sick all night. Had telehealth appointment yesterday and am self quarantined the rest of this month and maybe longer. Scolded for going to work... I’m considered high risk due to cancer treatment 2 years ago. Tests take 5-7 days to get results so that’s not an option. Guess you’re better or real bad by then. I’ve been under the weather for a week already. Stay away from people!

Take care and stay well.

Oh dear, take care ImValentine, hoping for a quick recovery and a negative test.

Star, that's like wow! I wouldn't have expect such extreme measures.

Having great sleep lately.
Waking a bit groggy
energy ebbs and flows.
Happy yesterday my grandson had is 3rd birthday.
Sad day my BIL passed away after weeks illness.
Little things: this morning the sidewalk had lots of angleworms and night-crawlers. Sure sign of spring.
Spring showers.
Had to vacate the butt hut with a gentleman who was obviously high...I found myself talking cool, excitedly, like high without the thc. Reminded me of acting drunk while dry.
Supportive of my sister. She helped me out so much at my low points with drinking and mental illness.
Got plenty of food to eat. I think i need to inventory it. and come up with meal plans. I was in food management my working life so it's not hard. Plus there are some cool diet and food sites to help.
0650 love it that it is brighter.
Have a safe and healthy day.

Wisc, my condolences for your BIL's passing. Thinking of you in a difficult time.

Imvalentine, I hope this is flu and not the virus, but you are wise to self quarantine at any rate. I hope you feel better soon!

Take care all!

Sad for the loss of your BIL wiscsober. Signs of spring are here also. A lowly ant on the patio and poppies are coming up. They have their own bed and it is full. Signs of new life and hope everywhere.

Thanks for all your good thoughts. I feel so much better and am keeping myself at home.

Stay safe and well everyone.

5:00 AM

Been up for quite awhile.

3-5 inches of snow forecast by tomorrow morning. Typical spring weather here. Tuesday looks good for light yard work. Should be feeling up to it by then.

Saw on the news a grocery store in PA had to throw $35,000 worth of stock out after a women deliberately coughed...on products. Sad waste.
Thought of you stargazer.

A happy healthy Friday to all.
