Friend treated me to McD's for my upcoming birthday. I like their cheeseburgers and had a couple with some orange soda.
I felt guilty in that I got him sick these weekend, who knows, but came down with the same crud I had.
Well the stores are not running out of beer and spirits.
Funny: one aisle had plenty of Kleenex/tissues and booze, while toilet paper, paper towels were sold out.
Everyone stay safe, sane, and sober.

Back to normal. So far no temperature, no congestion, no cough, feeling well. Listening to podcasts from BBC and world news outlets. This is the last thing I'd drink over....matter of fact there is nothing to drink over. And with that, Happy St. Patrick Day.
Bars are closed here today also, on St Pat's which is bad for them. I was watching tourists in New Orleans and Miami being rustled away off the street by police. There is a certain group of the population that just doesn't care or thinks it a hoax perpetuated by the "other" side.
My wife is working from home, and my kids are homebound too. Tensions are already starting to rise. My wife is asthmatic, and properly or not, freaking out about the virus. She is riding the kids to do "something." It's totally screwed up my normal days off routine, where I get things done unencumbered and rebuild my sanity for another week. At any rate, no one is sick yet, and I will likely be the carrier being out in the public continually. I have volunteered to get food for family and in laws whom want to remain sheltered. They look at it like a suicide mission. It's the least I can do.
Welcome back to work Dragon. Did you get your indoor greenhouse completed?
Glad you are feeling better Wisc. Seasonal allergy season is in full swing, so it's hard to tell if a sneeze is just allergies or something sinister.
Weird to see little traffic on the roads when they are usually bottle necked.
Be safe all!

It's a daily thing -- if I eat right I feel so much better and rest well.
No thoughts of drinking or using, gambling, buying.
Winter hanging around with snow flurries.
Been up early but had been sleeping almost all Tues.
Focusing on 10th and 11th steps.
Everyone have a great sober and safe day.

Work day ahead. Dropping Gdaughter at daycare. They will be closed rest of week due to blizzard forecast, I doubt they will reopen next week.
Virus has finally hit town with 2 cases and we are off to the races. It’s to late but hopefully the snow will keep people home. DIL had several dining customers Sunday from Colorado who drove up for church cause theirs was shut down.
Hope we are all safe and stay well.

Good morning, we are in lockdown here where I live. A shelter in place order was issued with thankfully many exceptions but most businesses are closed and only pharmacies and grocery stores are allowed.
Thankfully I can still visit and ride my horse. Lots of rules though.
Hope you are well and stay that way!

Went to get bloodwork done this morning and I was the only patient there. Normally, the waiting area is nearly standing room only.
Take care in the blizzard Imvalentine.
It is weird seeing almost all AA meetings suspending their schedules. Makes SR even more important.

Yes, indoor greenhouse is done, thank you Star. I've got red and yellow sweet pepper seeds germinating.
All daycares here are closed starting next week. In Prince Edward Island the liquor stores are closing which created panic buying. Their health official said they didn't think alcohol was a necessity.

Alarm at 5:00 and stayed in bed for awhile.
Work today and waiting for blizzard to hit. I do wish I could stay home today. I’m not exposed to the public at work. Maybe 2 people a day come in so I can sit there getting paid at least. I’m just plain tired. We are all stressed over the virus.
The liquor stores are advertising to come on in here. Those will be the last to close. I’m grateful I don’t drink.
Stay well and safe!

The company my wife works for makes parts for the domestic auto industry as well as other lines of manufacturing. With the big three auto makers shutting down production, the worry is her business will begin drying up. It's the not knowing about whether jobs will continue that is almost as scary as the virus. It is fortunate that both of us work for companies that are debt free, so the ability to hunker down more successfully is increased.
Take care all!
