Relieving guilt..

Reflecting on the fact I've now been sober since the 15th of Feb.,2008,

' Drunkenness is voluntary madness,' - Seneca, perfectly describes me in my 'drinking days'.

'Against stupidity the Gods themselves contend in vain,' Friedrich Schiller, perfectly describes the selfish, irresponsible actions and behaviour. I had to contend both in my personal and professional life. Many of whom were later identified to me as showing the signs and symptoms of what is now described as 'a hidden disability', of 'autism'. Which is obviously neither their or my fault, and greatly assisted me in my recovery of relieving me of any feelings of guilt I felt in reacting to their behaviour towards me...

'Happiness and freedom begin with a clear understanding of one principle.
Some things are within your control.
And some are not.' - Epictetus.
