Good morning early birds.
Had the thought of going back to bed after my doggy’s early potty walk but ended up with coffee and SR and here we are.
Yoga, horses, errands and chores on the agenda today.
Day 50 here.

Waiting for the critters to stir. The baby birds were long gone yesterday afternoon and the nest abandoned. Surprised 4 left at the same time. Is that normal? I hope they’re ok.

Hi Imvalentine, I had baby birds fledge on my balcony earlier this year and they were very different sizes.
The largest one flew away very fast and the rest left in order of size.
Were yours about the same size?
I called the local wild bird hotline for advice (yes we actually have one of those here lol) and they were really helpful.
The littlest one stayed on my balcony alone for several days but the parents came in and out to check on it until it could fly.
Day 50 was very good now on to day 51.

That must have been a sight Dragon. The beaches we frequent are a destination for French Canadians from Quebec. It seems the older gents all wear thongs. I am not sure why.
Imvalentine, I didn't learn to swim until I took classes at the Y in my thirties. I am still not a great swimmer, but I can make it the length of the pool in an emergency.

The bird parents keep coming back to check the ransacked nest so I’m afraid something or someone had a hand in it. The landlord I suspect. She was in the back Saturday trimming hedges with a “guy” and she loves to touch things. Bad karma.
I sound like a nut but I’m sure she is also!

You don't sound like a nut....that is awful. I would be so upset as well. Was this yesterday or last week? Because you can find the babies and help them, which I am sure you know.

Went to bed way late. Wound up over evening call from landlord. Long story. When the rent is to good to be true there is a reason why! A lot of writing on this situation for sure.
Daughter-in-law starts job tomorrow along with me. Granddaughter’s daycare in place so that is a positive.
