Colds are starting to go around at work also, seems it's the one with young kids first. I'm getting a flu shot this year.

I highly advise getting the flu shot. I had the flu about twenty years ago and it was literally as though I was hit by a truck. Getting out of bed to use the facilities took all I had. I was bedridden for a few days, which is not me at all.
Went to bed at midnight, then up at 3:00, 4:15, 5:20, 6:30 and then finally got up. My doctor had me begin a light dose of Wellbutrin to help manage my SAD. I seem to have difficulty sleeping the first few weeks taking this, and have very vivid dreams also. It's a small price to pay in the long run. If I start into a depression spiral, my AV will awaken and I will be toast. This med saved me a couple winters back when I fell into a deep and hopeless funk, and found myself climbing the relapse ladder. Used prudently, they can be life savers.

Woke up earlier but thankfully fell back to sleep. I’m getting a flu shot when I get over this darn cold. Lots of green tea with honey and ginger and a healthy smoothie will help my illusion of fighting it.
A good friend who is drinking was fired from her job. Her grandiose superior attitude did her in. Should I say something or avoid her? It has been a bummer to listen to her for quite awhile and I stay away due to the drinking. It’s not my business.

I am glad it's Friday for sure.
Imvalentine, sounds like you are doing the right thing with your friend but it is sure hard to watch someone you care about going through that kind of thing.
Especially if they are in denial about their part in it.

The wind woke me up and of course bathroom trip. Sustained wind of 45 mph and gusts to 60 till noon. Arizona’s looking real good right now.
Daughter won tickets for Manhattan Short Film Festival tonight and invited me. Something different to do. She enters every contest imaginable on Facebook...and wins frequently.
A safe sober Saturday to all.

Yikes melski! Hope the earth doesn’t quake today.
The short movies were very enjoyable. Nice to enjoy them with daughter.
