Over an hour of LOUD tornado sirens and mad lightning at 11ish.....tired.....did not rise early. :)

Also feeling very blessed that the tornadoes were 70 miles from here, and shattered for Dayton OH. :(

03:50 -- Awake for a while now, I have decided to stay up and catch up on some thoughts. So, it's an early breakfast for me, too, Venus, and watching that sun come up is always a bit of inspiration. The students come back to start their Summer work, so that will be nice, too.

Stargazer, my favorite island is the Big Island. We spent a week on the Kona side in 2016 and this trip was one day at Kona and one at Hilo.

Didn't sleep well last night. Wide awake around 1am. Again at 2am and sleeping soundly when alarm went off at 3:45am. I have a class to teach next week which I'm not prepared for--yet! (I am not a teacher or an instructor but have been asked to give a class on a subject that I know well enough.)

03:33 -- Lot's of three's in there as I check-in. More very early rising, thanks to my cat that is a bit bonkers these past couple of days/nights. Well, I was interrupted by the two cats: feed me time, LOL. I guess I know who rules around here.

I enjoy doing training for people, Ringo, and I hope you find your class a good experience.

Is it Friday yet?

Back to work today after a long staycation. It seems as though I got about 10 percent of the things done that I wanted to, but got done the things I needed most. Looking forward in a month to an actual get away from home vacation!

Ringo, isn't the big island the one where it actually snows and one can ski and then spend the afternoon lying on the beach?

Constant tornado warnings the past two days. There was one that touched down about twenty miles from here. Some folks got hail the size of limes. Crazy weather. I remember having maybe a handful of tornado warnings my entire life. Now, we seem to have them weekly. I'm not sure if it's just a case of the weather detection technology being improved, or the weather actually changing.

I assembled the new bathroom vanity last night and was dreaming all night about hanging it on the wall today, dreaming it was Saturday. I was shocked awake by my alarm telling me I got one more workday to go. Darn.
