Early Risers Check-in Thread Pt 8
Chloe, you are definitely getting your Wisconsin winter after a slow start this year.
Went to bed at 2:30 am after another late night at work. I need to start a Late Risers thread for the weeks that I work night shift, lol!
Have a good weekend all!

Perhaps this should be called the "Early (or late) Risers Check-in"
Hahaha, Dragon, sometimes I miss my early mark to check in with the early riser's thread, but it still feels early to me when I rise late!
I'm having more trouble sleeping lately, which means that while I may be up very early in the night, if I feel the time is available to sneak in a bit more down time (a nap-let), I do so. My work doesn't require me to be in before 8:00, but I really like to have some time to myself early in the morning. Being off the clock today, who knows if I will fall back asleep if I lie down ...
I have a bunch of daily newspapers to catch up on today, so that's on my plan this morning.

In early recovery, it was (and still is) important for me to check in first thing in the morning. It helped set my mind frame into "I'm not a drinker". If it was just a simple good morning. This thread was originally started by MountainManBob, as was the sober bus thread (Where my primary morning check-ins were done).

Checking in. I feel bad when I sleep late and don’t do it.
Another day of wind and more wind. I see on Facebook posts about spring. We have another 2 months of winter ahead.
I miss Mountainmanbob’s check ins.
A good Sunday to all.

I have a "check-in morning routine", too, STDragon!
It helps me get into a good mindset for the day
I, also, look forward to joining my SR friends and greeting you all with sunshine, smiles, support and love!♡

Slept well and feel better this morning. I have been feeling like a twisted up pretzel. Getting out over the weekend also helped. It’s hard to get motivated and easy to sit inside in the winter.
A good Monday to all.
