I’m late today. Don’t know when I first woke up. The warm bed was hard to get out of.
2 degrees out and snow off and on the rest of this week.
I feel like I’m hibernating.

I was dreaming last night that I was in a work related classroom, talking to the student behind me and the instructor was poking me in the shoulder. Turns out my alarm clock was ringing and it was Mrs Dragon trying to wake me up!

Stargazer, after I sobered up I found out just how depressed I was. Yikes, it was awful but not bad enough to drink again. It's manageable now. Hope you find relief too.

Chloe, congrats on one year and two months! It can be a challenge keeping the streak rolling this time of year. I remember my first year sober as mainly letting my body and my brain trying to heal from poisoning it daily for decades. In my second year, I started to read lots of books on addiction, trying to understand how I could possibly let myself go along this path for so long. Also, I had to learn how to deal with my emotions as an adult, instead of drinking feelings away. I read that emotional development stops when heavy drinking begins, so that made me a fifty something teenager. Ugh!
Expecting a snow and ice storm tomorrow, so I will try to get some things done today. Keep warm and have a good day everyone!

Need to motivate myself today. Lots of errands to run...
Massage at 8 and hair appointment at 5 leaves a lot of time to get things done.
This is the only day all week that snow is not forecast. I could use some springtime. Cabin fever starts to hit and is depressing.
Chloe-congratulations on 14 months. Stargazer is right. I was a mid 50’s teenager now I’ve got to be mid 20’s going on old!

Somehow, I broke two car ice scrapers in the past week. I spent hours shopping various outlets until I finally found a couple at an auto parts store. Here's hoping they get me through the winter.
Snow storm just starting up. The fridge is packed with food, all the cars gassed up and best of all, I am off today. Went for a three mile hike in a local park this morning. I love how nature seems to recenter my mind when my thinking is scrambled.
I hear March is looking to be a bit milder than usual, at least in the east.

I'm awake...but, really haven't slept. It was a rough night of tossing and turning...trying to beat this cold. The weather hasn't helped. It is 32° and windy rain/snow all night long.

Looking forward to a balmy -9 today. The tempratures are slowly climbing. Before we know it, spring will be here. I hope it comes early, I never got my garden dug up last year...

You guys have way worse weather. 22 degreee high forecast here with snow. I’ll quit complaining.
I’ll complain about plumbing instead. A small river of hot water is coming out of the tub faucet. 3rd washer replacement in 2.5 years. Landlord says we turn the faucet to far and hard. Last time the water was to hot. First time it was the shower head that I put on. I think it needs new updated faucet myself! The Serenity Prayer will be used a lot today.
Plumber and landlord here at 11:15. A two dollar washer and $98.00 plumber labor. I’ll shut up now.

That's frustrating Imvalentine!
Actually hitting 48 degrees today and 60 this weekend. Good bye snow and ice. My daffodils are very confused right now.
Beginning a week of closing the store again, getting home at 1:00am. No early rising for me for a bit.

04:30 -- It's been a while since I've been up early enough for this thread. I guess I have needed the extra sleep lately. This morning before I head to work it is supposed to start to snow, so I will catch the beginning of it.
