Up just before 4.00am today. Didn't get out for a run, but thinking about pounding the pavement after work, when I'm not bound by time/distance constraints.
I'm a bit like everyone else when it comes to the dishes - got a set way I like to do them, which CAN'T be interrupted or sabotaged by amateurs lol!
Hope all you early risers have a terrific day!

4.00am & out of bed for me today, slept through my "window of opportunity for a run" time, which is OK as it means my body needed the rest, but I've absolutely gotta hit the pavement for some exercise either after work or tomorrow morning. Anyway, at least it's Friday (in Sydney), so silver linings & all that.
Have a great day early risers!

Early mornings were my favourite time to run. I would get up, do 5k and jump into the pool (I use to have one of those 4' deep "steel-set" rubber pools.) all before work. But I was drinking back then and it got harder each year to keep up that pace as my drinking progressed. But now I'm too beat up to run....

Even when I was an active drinker I still somehow managed to keep up a fairly decent running regime. So as soon as I stopped drinking I dropped quite a bit of weight off, as I was also being much more careful about what I was eating - an almost immediate health benefit of being alcohol free
05:15 -- I'm going to be looking for some low hanging fruit to pick to get done today, as I'm really quite tired after this week. This probably means that something bigger will fall into my lap that needs to get done, and that's fine, too. I will be looking forward to the end of the day. Maybe the sun will shine today!
