Dragon, believe it or not there is a Ukelele Club in Lafayette, CA. Only reason I learned about it is they did a quick fundraiser to pay for replacement ukuleles that burned up in the Paradise Fire. In a week or two, the kids with their new instruments are going to perform in the Chico Walmart parking lot for the newly homeless that are staying there.
Beautiful rain predicted tomorrow and maybe Thursday morning. Thank you God.

Thanks Chloe. We had our first ever ukulele festival in Winnpeg this year. It was a huge success and another is in the works for 2020. Unfortunalty, I didn't go. I couldn't afford lessons for both me and my daughter and festival passes for both of us (And I couldn't go without my daughter). But in 2020 for sure!

STDragon-I saw something about ukuleles in our local newspaper. They are taking over the world.
I have to clean the house today. I have my 9 month old granddaughter tomorrow. It’s one of those long alcoholic drama stories between jailed son and his girlfriend. I’m grateful to have contact again.
Ringo-the news said the smoke was visable in NYC. It’s unimaginable what has happened. Praying for rain.

Awoke with alarm. I must have hit snooze because I can hear it going off inside the house.
Coffee, cigarette and shower needed desperately. Gdaughter will be arriving soon.
I think I’m prepared for the family dynamics today. Will be saying the serenity prayer silently a lot.

My daughter serenaded all with her uke after dinner. That's cool I've been considering doing the same thing for my family this Christmas.
