Respect and humility...

My respect for those, like me who are in recovery, is not in the longevity of their recovery, allowing for the fact that I have been sober for the past ten years, but in not only the quality of it but in the respect and humility, often so sadly lacking. It provides in the opportunity to share experience, strength and hope in helping others, including myself to recover from a fatal disease/illness.

There are few, if any opportunities to do this in any other areas of life where tee is a common bond between both the person fvfvering it and those who receive it, that takes to an unprecedented level whilst at the sametime demanding of all those participating a strong element of respect and humility...without which any efforts in this regard are doomed to failure, with the ever present risk of fatal consequences.
