Turning adversity into advantage...
Full thread...
The media, including those who use the social network often, in describing others mistake the word class as meaning wealth, power and status.
As opposed to meaning strength of character, which includes the ability to turn adversity into advantage. Often to be found in a person's recovery , from anything including addiction to alcohol or alcoholism.
On which basis I'd suggest, which ever path you choose, you choose one that provides this quality on the basis that. Recovery isn't about getting back ti how you were before It's about building something new.
Accepting that wealth, power and status may assist this they should fall into the category of 'preferred indifference' whilst any real recovery should be built on strength of character providing the opportunity to turn adversity into advantage. After which you'll be fully aware of your own strength and weakness and be able to take advantage of them and build a secure future for yourself...
Apologies again for my initial error.
