Happy Friday! It's payday Friday too... I've already got a nice sum of cash burning a hole in my pocket. So many ideas to use it on, can't decide which one .... oh such is the burden of sobriety...

M-Bob, hope your dental stuff is over for awhile.

When I drink I didn't much go to the dentist, the doctor (well, sometimes for stitches after a fight--I once refused anesthesia because I was so drunk.), or eat properly. Funny how taking care good care of myself took a back seat to my drinking...

Thanks to sobriety, I wake up and say "good morning God" instead of "oh sh*t, I'm still alive".

Good morning, off to work for a few hours this morning.

When I drank, I didn't feel 'worthy' of the doctors time. Or rather, I knew I would be told all my problems were because I drank and I'd have to quit drinking. Now that I'm sober, I still haven't gone because I feel I need some time under my belt to show I'm serious. Luckily I don't have any pressing medical issues but being over 50, I really should get a full checkup. soon.... I'll do that soon...

Woke up at 3:20 and went back to bed. Had a horrible dream,
Wide awake and grateful I'm sober after that one!

0430 came downstairs to find the coffee pot not perking right--coffee and grounds on counter, all over the pot. Years ago I'd swear and get mad.

I cleaned it up and got ready for work. Still got to work on time thanks to getting up early.

I hate it when the coffee pot does that. Usually because I forgot to empty out the pot when setting it up.....

Late day at work yesterday then a 12:30am emergency gets me up. Back in bed an hour later but had a hard time falling back to sleep.

It's gonna be a sleepy sober day...
