A big part of socializing as a young adult revolved around drugs, looking fwd to them and doing them.
now life is not how i imagined it would turn out and it's hard to look back and see how much disappointment I've caused ppl. I turned into a mad flake.

mending relationships is hard

None of us ended up where we were in a day geldofc. It took time to get there and it takes a little time to sort out the debris we left behind.

You will tho - and I think you'll find that life can still be pretty darn amazing this side of recovery

I find mending the relationship with myself first provides an underlayment in making amends to others. It simply takes time with the how - Honesty , willingness and open mindedness.

The more I was capable to forgive myself I found the more I could empathize and love others. Remarkable.

None of this occurred without continuing sobriety.
