What is Recovery?
Well, most would say that achieving a point of serenity is important.
This thread may help me and others to examine ourselves ?

achieved --- 76% to 90% serenity

for me that is pretty darn good

for I do have some low moments in sobriety

but always remembering

much better than the drinking days

I fight with this issue of serenity -- thus the reason for the thread.

Would like to hit another 90% today -- Mon -- we will see ??

My serenity level is very high also.

I have been praying hard, but not doing meditation and not doing enough BB and other spiritual reading.

My serenity today is 100%. :) I just took Billie to McDonald's for a tiny little doggie ice cream cone. It was free and just the right size for a small dog. :) I get my happiness from making my dogs happy. :)

(Jack did not go, as he hates riding in the car and also, is overweight and can't have ice cream)

I'll give yesterday 95%.

I think it to be hard for me to hit 100%.
That's like perfect and even on a good day I fall a little short.

I guess I'm just easy to please cause just waking up to see my dogs on the bed with me gives me 100% serenity first thing of the day. :)

I need to start spending more time with my dogs.

My two dogs are usually near me. Billie, because she's in house training right now, and Jack, just out of love. I think once Billie's off the leash she will choose to stay close to me for love also.

I treasure the time spent with my dogs and cats. They enrich my life so much. :)

Yes, spend more time with your dogs. :) They'll pay you back for it 100 fold. :)

WRONG!! She got loose from her collar and went straight to the cat box!! :dee I guess she loves the litter box more than me. :headbange That is not good for my serenity. :(

Serenity level yesterday was riding at around 95%.

until I had to deal with Dish TV repair on the phone.

Think that brought me down to about 75% for the day.

Going with my wife today to the Del Mar County Fair.

Hoping to keep serenity level very, very high today.

Excellent, for I don't get there very often.
Today's also been pretty calm -- so far.

Taking Billie to McD's for an ice cream cone gives me 100% serenity today. :)

As I look back on yesterday I'm thinking 99% ?

Our pets undoubtedly enhance my serenity level.

We have cats, a Schnauzer, donkeys and cattle (some of which are actually pets).

As I look back on yesterday it's looking like about 95% I'm hoping I can keep doing this over and over a few times a nice sober day wished for all Bob

My serenity level was just great... until I came back to the car with Billie's little ice cream cone and found that she had slipped her harness and was loose in the car! :dee I am blessed that she didn't jump out the open windows.

She still got her ice cream tho. :)

Looking back on yesterday, thinking my serenity averaged out to 95%.

Today we'll see if I can keep it there again.
We are dropping the wife's truck off for maintenance
and then to lunch and the Costco Store.

I'm not a big shopper but, I will (try) to enjoy it.

Maybe take some pleasure from the fact that my wife enjoys it ?
