You will never do anything better!
With a drinking history of 30 years behind me and now well over 8 years of sobriety, recovery for me, as I suspect it is for many others, hasn't been easy. Said simply in coming to terms with life and myself, the latter by way of learning to love myself.
You can't love anyone else until you can first love yourself, right!
Putting aside all your worries and concerns about the past, present and future, much of which you can do nothing about anyway.
The best thing you can do is save your own life whilst in doing so sharing your experience, strength and hope to help others to do so.
You will never, no matter what you've done, where you've been or whatever your faults and failings, we all have them....do anything better!
