You can't buy or fake this..
This morning, Fri., 1st January 2016 marked the eighth year I woke up, 'safe, sane jury's still out on that one) and sober' as I've done every morning since my sobriety date.
Nothing remarkable about that then, smartass!
Except for the fact that it occurred to me, in which thought I include all those who like me woke up in a similar state, probably a bit more sane than me to!
That of all the things, especially in my 30 years drinking history, it's the one thing, more than anything my recovery has brought me that you can't buy or fake...
Now that's a thought worth waking up top every day, Happy New Year everyone!
For all the days, weeks and years to come...
