As I understand it, friendship exists where the individuals involved offer each other emotional support. Which can be anything from shared laughter to dealing with more serious matters...it is built on respect and trust.
Equally so, the secret of god relationships is where the other person makes you happy in just being themselves, as you do them...
So I offer my deep and sincere gratitude to the originator of this thread and all those who've contributed to it, thank you very much.
And having hit 69, which is a bit of a miracle, as at 60 I was at one stage close to death from alcoholism, I offer you in appreciation this,

'the secret of god relationships' should read 'good relationships' but as both good and god, in terms of 'the God of my understanding have played a significant part in my recovery from alcoholism, they're both relevant...whichever way you read it.
