My philosophy ...
My philosophy ...
Now, in recovery well over 6 years, and whilst not yet old enough to be wise, but old enough to be philosophical. This is my philosophy...
We are, none of us, nothing more, at any one time, than our state of mind and all we can rely on is ourselves.
Learning is the induction of knowledge within the parameters of human behaviour, allied with the fact that anything that contradicts logic and experience should be abandoned.
This allows me to get rid of self and. assisted if I choose, which in my case I do, to hand my will and life over to the god of my understanding found wherever I may find him, she or it.
So that when 'the winds of circumstance blow' in my getting rid of 'self' they cannot harm me or anyone else adopting this approach.
Allowing me to become my whole or true self, exactly the person I am, just in my being.
So that I can now reach out and become my highest self, both in recovery and all other areas of my life...
