Compermised my sobrity

Hello

I had 137 days sober when I drank on Sunday to calm the withdraw off of tramadol. I should have know what was going to happen. I'm an addict. I will abuse anything addictive. That's how I'm built. I was prescribed trams for diminishing disk disease. We have to walk this line.

Slips...

Slips.i.e. taking the odd drink, for whatever reason, shouldn't be taken to seriously, especially if you, yourself don't necessarily justify them to yourself in a manner that is at odds to the recovery and hoped for prolonged sobriety you are aiming for...

Evidenced in your return and this post, excellent! Above all, don't be to hard on yourself, after all you won't be the first and you certainly won't be the last.

The main thing is to do what you have done and learn from it so you strengthen your recovery in doing so...one day at a time, ok.
