We all do things when we are drinking that we are not proud of . Try to live in today stay sober and learn from the past..dont beat yourself up , its a waste of time and it gives the disease the upper hand in making us feel we are not worthy of recovery .. we so are ! When I feel down about the past I do something for my recovery..go to a meeting and share , call another alcoholic , pray ..I also try to keep my head where my feet are . Hang in there ! Bless ^ Trish

Read and ask questions and share what is in your heart.
I hope that you are ready to work on being and staying sober.

Hi Brian,
As the others said, we have all done things that we would love to change. Part of becoming sober I learned, is to accept life as it is. The serenity prayer says it all.
As Indigo says, we can forgive ourselves. We must do that.
Hang around and keep posting.
Love, Anna
