So day 2 almost in the can

Sleep last night was interesting. Kept on getting shocked awake. Heart rate felt high. So needless to say I'm dragging today. The med I got from the doc are making me drowsy as well. Probably going to start taking them at night. On a lighter note. I received a call from someone telling me I didn't have to show up for art class tonight. Funny thing is I don't remember signing up for an art class. Looked through my emails and sure enough my drunk ass signed up back in May. Hoping I didn't give them any card info. Ugh. Have a message out to the school hoping I can cancel.

I kept gettin the shocked awake thing 2 nights ago mate. That's followed up by sleeping for 14 hours and waking up not having an effing clue what day/week/month/place it was! Crazy

Olometal, I had so many crazy dreams and like you i would wake with a shock. Between that and night sweats it was a very unpleasant experience. But it gets better fast, so stick at it

What is the shock awake thing? I mean, I get what it means but lately when I'm not drinking I just can't stay asleep. I know I do sleep because I dream. However, I wouldn't call it a shock awake thing. I've suffered from insomnia on more than one occasion throughout my life but not sure if I would call my insomnia withdrawal from alcohol. Hmm...
