My latest sponsor told me the same thing right up front Gottalife. That he was going to get more out of taking me through the steps than I was. Although I got a great deal out of it, I'm sure he was right. That, of course, is why they say "AA is a selfish program."

I guess the next thing you will be doing is finding someone to take through the steps? "Nothing will so much insure immunity from drinking as intensive work with other alcoholics" and it's so cool when you get to watch someone recover.

"Sponsor is very controlling, rigid..."
"This drives my sponsor crazy and usually I get a phone call afterward."
"Recently she told me that my sponsee did not have any quality of sobriety. "

this is where differences of opinions can play. personally i don't think that's actions of someone living a strong program.
well, actually, it could be....A strong program, but not THE program.
love and tolerance of others is our code.
there are times that the sponsee can be the sponsor. sounds like a good time to ask yer sponsor about their behavior and where it fits into the program -what principle those actions fall under. you both may learn something and grow.
