just saying hello

This past valentines day I celebrated 14 years clean and sober.

This week I have gone through my first of 4 sessions of chemo..... does the thought of picking up cross my mind?

Not at all.

Recovery has given me many gifts............including the skills to live life, on life's terms.

Addiction only takes away!

Recovery gives!

Just an update....

Had surgery this past September 20th.... neo-bladder. (quit smoking this date as well)

Half way through another round of chemo

Still clean and sober and looking forward to Christmas.

Still plugging away.......final round of chemo is next week.

Really looking forward to being able to put this stuff behind me and moving forward.
