I can not imagine going back out and finding that will to stop again. WOW that would be so very hard. I like how I feel now. Not really any cravings, just rationalizing. And it just takes some good "talking myself down" to realize how the addict in me is rearing its ugly head. Can anyone else relate???

You mean that little guy on my shoulder...
Big time relate dotty. Last few days especilly. In spite of myself, replaying old war stories in my mind and somehow imagining a different outcome. I feel like bringing the old hammer out for a couple of good shots to my ego.
Thanks dot.

You KNOW about the trouble that kind of thinking got me into. And by the end of it, I WAS craving. Icky-poo!!
I take a medication that is supposed to reduce cravings, but it also blocks the effects of opiates so I have a pretty significant disincentive to use. Too bad there's not something like it for meth!
I probably couldn't use even if I wanted to. I don't have any veins left.
Love, Eddie

Thank you for the replies everyone! (((Annie))) You are rocking on! And thank you for the chickies. I so love chickies. I have seen some at the zoo and they chirp and are fluffy with pokey beaks. They are scared of me though! But I still love them.
Hugs to all of ya,

Hey Dot,
I keep remembering what it was like before I cleaned up and I honestly don't know how I survived. I'm just starting to realize now why I survived. God has a plan for me and I want to be around to see it.
Keep thinking good thoughts.
Prayers comming your way,
Nodd (Jerry)

Indigo,
Are those some kind of French birdie that we don't have here? They sure don't look familiar to me.
Jerry,
Good to hear from you. Someone else was looking for you, but I can't remember who or where.
Love to all,
Eddie
