What are you doing TODAY to further your recovery?
This morning my cravings were fierce. I stayed on SR longer and usual and will stay online throughout the day to check in and post. I feel that I will be truly tested this weekend.
I am making plans to really start my 4th step and not just talk about it.

Serenity prayer
Writing my affirmations to believe in the 3 Cs'
Encouraging her mother
Being committed it will get worse before it gets better
Living free of addiction & the people connected to it.

Snuggling with my dogs always makes me feel at peace, with myself and the rest of the world. I get such a feeling of comfort, serenity, and peace just being around them.
And their shiny healthy happy faces are a reward for staying sober every time I look at them.:
I take delight in the little things now and am so glad I do.

Hi , Great thread .
1 I have asked my God for help in staying clean and sober just for today .
2 I am spending my daily time here at SR .
3 Trying to make my days as productive as possible
4 Cutting out things in my life that threaten my sobriety .

Am new to this-day 10 for me but I love this thread-it is very uplifting
Today I have/will do
1. Looked at SR for inspiration and help
2. Thanked God for another day and night of not drinking
3. Took my 2 year old son for our daily walk. We do this every morning now whatever the weather and I really enjoy it, seeing new things I just didn't see before.. The sun is shining for the first time in weeks and I see this as a positive sign of a new start
4. Planning to eat healthily for the rest of the day
5. Not drink

What a great thread! Today I have/will:
- Said my gratitudes
- Did my inventory from yesterday
- Prayed
- Had quality time with the cat
- Will finish out a good week of hard work, TGIF!
- Daily check in with my SR peeps
- Will have a great workout tonight
- Eat healthy because I WANT to
- Read, and remember what I read
- Reach out to 3 other women in recovery, which is really hard for me, so I'm putting it on this list so I'll do it!!

Keep checking in here on SR as much as possible
Giving myself tasks to get done throughout the day - today cleaned out the fridge, and soon to give dogs a bath, do laundry and then go to work.
Reading lots and lots of info
Hanging out with my daughter, and being around my fiance help a lot
Trying to be the best person that I can be by taking myself away from myself, trying to think about things without the bias of my own feelings
Trying to help others in a caring and open-minded way
Moving forward
Would like to start meditating once a day, with hopes of centering / grounding myself, and letting my higher power speak to me

Hug my husband
Go for a walk

Accepting facts that i can't change without getting upset. I will deal with them and remember that things could always be worse.
yes--ignoring that little voice that wants to trot to the bar (hard to believe its still there after all the trouble it has caused, but it is).
Playing with my profile and checking the rest of SR, every few hours
will try to get something constructive done
