Looking for help in Seattle, Wa
 

My exhusband (best friend) is looking to make a fresh start. I live in eastern Washington, but my ex knows he needs to move somewhere to begin treatment and start over. We are looking into treatment options in the Seattle area, but don't have any friends there and need to find a place for him to stay until he can get on his feet. He does not have insurance, but will find a job and be able to get an apt eventually. Does anyone know of a shelter or halfway house that he can work at for room and board so he can save to get out on his own? Any information you could provide would be greatly appreciated... just looking for a place to start.

The Salvation Army offers free detox and rehabilitation to anyone who requests it.

Your ex-husband could check with his local Salvation Army centre.
