"Compare and Despair" is my favorite slogan.
In the beginning, when I was first going to meetings, I was still in a state of denial. I listened to a lot of people's stories (when I could actually start paying attention) and said to myself "Well, maybe I don't really have a problem because I never crashed a car." I relayed those thoughts to my sponsor and she told me, "Compare and despair," which means, don't try to validate your experience by comparing your journey to other people's.

slogan
A old timer is a person that can pronounce autonomous and anonymity
The only thing about doing nothing is that you never know when your done
Alcoholics/addicts have a ego as big as the world and self-esteem that wouldn't fit on a ants foot
It your wondering what your next move is ask God
Life shows up
Been here long enough to know I haven't been here long enough
Put the plug in the jug
Geographical tripping has nothing to do with Geography
Yesterday is history tomorrow is a mystery
Stick with the winners
take what you need and leave the rest
