R.i.p
With the help of you wonderful awesome people I came to the conclusion that we all died and were reborn as new people, fresh thoughts, fresh ideas, good clear thinking and logical decison making. R.I.P to all the drinkers we use to be.
A bottle is a bottle
A bottle can not hug us when we are feeling like S***
A bottle can not give us feedback when the weight seems to be more than our bodies can carry.
A bottle can not turn back time.
A bottle can not assist us, our families, our selves or others in a time of crisis.
A bottle is just a bottle.

I can relate to the one that says "A bottle can not turn back time". In retrospect a lot of my drinking was caused by depression over things that happened in the past, things that could not be changed or undone. I used alcohol to escape the bad memories as if it could turn back the hands of time and rewrite my history. Interesting that it worked.... at least until it wore off anyhow.
