Cool subject! My avatar reflects my love of nature. Plus, my mind was fuzzy for a yr after quitting opiates and benzos ugh lol.
If I could figure out how to upload pics, I'd change it. I'm not very computer literate though.

Mine changes regularly, sometimes a picture reflecting my mood, most of the time simply a pic of myself so people can put a face to my words ... I think that helps to personalize the conversation.

Mine is now a butterfly...I was gone for a few months (consider it a cocoon).
Now I have come back as a butterfly!

The first Rocky movie came out when I was 16. With the exception of Rocky V, I think they've all been great. Rocky is the ultimate underdog, and while the movies are all about overcoming adversity and that internal voice that says "I can't" they are also about redemption and, most of all, love. My wife doesn't really understand the Rocky movies and never watches them, which is a shame - she is my Adrian.

My avatar is a painting I did, reflecting my journey from horrible burns/NDE,pain, no family and other stuff (all 'cos of booze)- to healing. My first avat. here was Icarus. This painting is called 'Phoenix rising, Icarus descending.'

Thanks D- I take my art as a photo of my mind when I first design the stuff. A way to move on. LEARN AND GROW.

Mine is a photo of a conservation property where I walk a lot. I was on an afternoon walk, stopped, and snapped the photo. Amazingly, I caught just what I wanted, because I am a crap photographer.
