This is my Ivy right before we got her. I just fell in love with her when I saw this picture.

carl, that looks like my Dusty(we "think" a schnauzer/wirehair pointer cross, or a schnauzer/catahoula cross, got him at a shelter in Louisiana) before he gets a grooming. Speaking of, I started on it today, I've already thrown out a whole plastic grocery bag full of his hair. He doesn't shed, so he needs the twice yearly shaves. All I have left is his face, and clean up work around his paws(but those areas are a two person job).

Here he is right after a professional grooming. http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j5...y/IMG00048.jpg I'm not nearly as good as that, but I get the job done.

He's the old boy, 11 this fall. He's got cataracts, moves a lot slower than he used to, and has developed what seems to be dementia.

We also have Casey, and Old English bulldogge, http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j5...y/IMG00465.jpgand Porthos, a pug. http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j5...y/IMG00785.jpg

It's hard to get a good picture of Casey because her face is so dark, she's a full brindle.

So I haven't posted a picture of my babies lately. Here is Sargent this morning in my bed...Summer's portrait is looking on in the background. Need to do a Sargent Portrait one day soon:)

What breeds does Beebe have in her? She looks so much like my dog who is a lab/boxer mix, except my dog's nose isn't as..pointy, I guess. At first, my screen wasn't completely scrolled over to the right, so I could only see the ear and eye and I thought, "How does this person have a picture of my dog?!"

I wish I knew, Star. I think we say shepard mix on our web site. Her tail is a tight circle, like a Husky's, without the fur. Guess I could spin the giant wheel of dog breeds. The thing is, I have no way of finding out. She was rescued from Va Beach's animal control--her owner was arrested and they confiscated her. When he got out of jail, he didn't have the money to get the dog out. The rescue organization I volunteer for pulled her out and I've been fostering her ever since. It's been 3 years. I ought to own up to the fact that she's mine...doggy mental problems, and all.

So grateful for my vets.:) Little Jack was so itchy and the vet said it was allergies and gave him cortisone, which seems to be helping a lot.:) Can't see my babies uncomfortable, now can I?:)
