I worked with a nurse who had a teenage girl ghost in her house. She KNEW she had a ghost, and did research on it and found out that a girl had died there. The "girl" would take her pony tail holders, barrettes, and move them to another room, or take bread out of the wrapper like she was going to make a sandwich.
My friend was cool with it...said they could hear "her" walking...apparently had some heavy boots (found out how she was dressed in her research). They eventually moved to a bigger house, were sitting out on the front porch and heard the footsteps...the ghost must have liked them so much, she moved with them.
I love to read and hear about the stories, but not so sure I'd be that calm about it.
As far as Ouija boards, one of the shows had a family that unleashed a really mean ghost with one of those....the ghost was out to kill their kid. Scary stuff!
