You live in Upstate NY...I have gotten a couple books from the library called..
Haunted New York.
Haunted Saratoga County.

Pretty freaky stuff. Alot of the stories are right in my area.

Have you heard of Longfellows?
That is suppose to be haunted. Use to be an old trading post that sealt in alcohol back before it was leagal.
They say alot of people were killed there over what we would call now a days. Deals gone bad.
There is a house about a half mile down the road that use to be a brothel a long time ago. That is in one of the books a s being haunted.

I haven't heard of longfellows. I wonder if i can look it upon the Internet.
We have some haunted places around here too.

There's a restaurant down the street from me that has a woman ghost there. She's dress in civil war era clothes. I've never been to the restaurant to eat myself. It's a ritzy place out of my pocketbook range. LOL
I read about it in my local paper last fall.

I worked with a nurse who had a teenage girl ghost in her house. She KNEW she had a ghost, and did research on it and found out that a girl had died there. The "girl" would take her pony tail holders, barrettes, and move them to another room, or take bread out of the wrapper like she was going to make a sandwich.

My friend was cool with it...said they could hear "her" walking...apparently had some heavy boots (found out how she was dressed in her research). They eventually moved to a bigger house, were sitting out on the front porch and heard the footsteps...the ghost must have liked them so much, she moved with them.

I love to read and hear about the stories, but not so sure I'd be that calm about it.

As far as Ouija boards, one of the shows had a family that unleashed a really mean ghost with one of those....the ghost was out to kill their kid. Scary stuff!

Well ..The new job is a little creepy. I am starting to hear little stuff moving around and see thigs out of the corner of my eye. I was in the cooler last night and looked through the doors to see if any customers were out there and I swear I saw a guy standing in front of the cooler door on the otherside. So I go out and noone is there.
I work in a historic very old town by me. Right on the Mohawk River.
That didnt scare me tho..so it was probably nothing.
