“Find all posts by...”

How come when you click on some members’ names, you see this page that says “Find all posts by ( ...)” And “Find all threads started by (...)” and other members do not have these links? Is there some sort of privacy setting they have their profile set to? Just curious. Thanks.

No, there are no privacy settings like that.

I did see a profile page the other week where someone had made their link colour the same as the background colour so you couldn't see the 'see all posts/threads' links

If you click on a persons name beside one of their posts ' find more posts by' and 'find all threads started by' are options there in the drop down menu :)

I’m still not understanding. When I click on your name for example, my only option is to send you a message. There is no option to see your posts or your threads. But when anyone clicks on my name, it shows a different screen, the one with “Find all posts...” etc.

Are you viewing the forums on a mobile device? (I don't know if that would make a difference, I'm just trying to get info for the tech people in case it helps.)

I'm on the web on a PC, and that doesn't happen to me - I can see the dropdown list with everyone.

Ah, never mind. It seems it only looks like this when I use the mobile version. When I switch to desktop, the profile options for finding posts and threads look the same for all members.

Sorry LunaBlue - I should have realised you might have been on the mobile version.
I never use it.

Thanks for the responses! It looks like we were posting at the same time, Bimini :)
