Does anyone have information on obtaining free substance abuse treatment in a residential facility in Missouri?

Melissa...
Start with the Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitataion Center. The largest, and arguably most sucessful in tems of those treated, the Salvation Army operates residential drug and alcohol treatment facilities in most states. Their main premise is that a person must have a "purpose"., a reaso to get up in the morning, in order for recovery to take place. Residents earn their room, board, counseling and treatment by working for the "Sally" as drivers, sorters of merchandise, dispatchers, etc. They stay 3-6months and leave owing nothing. in this day and age taht alone is amazing. Good luck, and keep us posted...
