In search of: happiness
Hey all,
why is finding happiness and doing what used to do (and not being happy) so elusive. I understand that using hijacked my happiness and dopamine is hard to come by.. I am just really sad, lethargic, apathetic.. I don’t care - but I do.. I just want to be happy again..and it is so incredibly difficult to find/be/even fake till I am.. thoughts? I’m open to any input/ideas/suggestions.

Hi Josh
I dunno - for me it took time to find that joy again. I'd really beaten myself up, body and mindwise.
I started to fee better around 3-4 months. I wasn't an opiates guy tho.
You seem to have been depressed for a long time tho - have you seen anyone about it?

Hey Josh,
For me, I was searching for that outside answer to the inside problem too.
I always thought someone or something else was going to make me happy.
It didn't.
First I had to realize that "euphoria" was not happiness.
Then I had to take responsibility for my happiness. Create it, work for it,
nurture it and above all else, share it.
No one can tell you how to find your happiness, only you, because it's inside
of you,
I hope you find what your looking for.
Regards
Larry
