Any Music? / Part 2
I messed up my post in this last time so wanted to make it right.
out of nowhere a second person I was talking to died and life is starting is starting to seem like one endless bad dream. there isn't a lot helping, this is one of 2-3 songs in the whole world keeping my head from imploding from negativity.
nobody likes power metal anymore, but these guys (former Helloween members) didn't sing about dragons and silly things as much, and this song great for workout, work, fun, everything.
this original was sang by Jorn Lande n 2003. if you don't know him, its physically impossible to replace him once he's gone... course, he left.
the new singer was not bad at all but nobody can replace Jorn. but they did a set with guest singer, and sorry quality is really bad but if you can put with it, it was first time in 10 years I felt like this song was alive again:
then some great youtube cover artist made a great cover I just learned about, especially if you dont like metal, listen to the last 3 minutes for vocal-only track:
those last 2 videos brought the whole song alive for me again just when I needed most, it kind of made me feel like there's hope to make things live again.
I dont think anyone will appreciate it the same way as the addicted or previous addicted people.

Soberchella for me this year! The Weeknd, Beyoncé and Eminem, plus a ton of greatness on the lower bill and in the Sahara (EDM) tent...should prove interesting to hear and watch and dance to the the DJs without rolling balls.
So you've actually heard of Jack White. I consider his music to be a bit off the beaten path, which I really like.
Here's a ballad from Front Range. Seen these guys a few times at festivals. Great live and write most their own stuff.
"The Hills That I Call Home"

Could these guys get any better? I've seen them live twice and was left speechless. I love this song. It's beautiful and uplifting.

Looking forward to Kygo on the polo fields. This song is both hauntingly beautiful with a great beat in the chorus.

Man I would have loved to been at that concert! Always been an Eagles and a Vince Gill fan. Vince started out in bluegrass....then at one point he was the lead singer for Pure Prairie League and then made it big in Country...before sojourning again back into bluegrass....the man is a walkin talkin musician, singer and song writer; very handy on both guitar and mandolin.
vintage vince gill and pure prairie league
how about a lil' cajun?

Personally, I am amazed whenever I watch someone play the accordian...and further amazed when they can sing and play the accordian at the same time...talk about muscle memory!...and those synapses firing in the brain....!
