Once an addict always and addict I have this I'm an addict
I have to admit I don't want to be one but denial runs deep . I also a recovering alcoholic porn addict and poker gambling addict. But Opiates took a grip on me fueled with alcohol years ago. So hi my name J and I'm an addict should I go to NA I only go to AA?

I think there's a big difference between active and non active addiction. Being a non active addict doesn't stop me doing anythign
I have no experience with AA, NA- but why not stick with AA if it's working for you?

Accidentally went to a NA meeting and by smoke break I was never going back. I've recovered AA Spiritual kindi garden I did everything which I took as Literal directionthe first 103 pages of the Spiritual kindi garden book Alcoholic Anonymous and got what it says I'm well recovered and now I'll relax and take it easy were does it say sponsor in there it doesn't.

I don't by into that once an addict always an addict nonsense.that is defeatist talk and sets you up for failure.
If you don't want to be an addict stop using even if you use every two months.that does not turn you into or back to an addict an addict must do or have his or her vice daily. Regardless of any and all obligations. Their vice will come first.
That's the mindset and behavior one should pursue escaping. Get your priorities and responsibilities back in line.
I was once an addict. Even now I will back slide at times and use but not to keep from being sick and not because I have no control but more as a weekend or every month or so escape from my current mental state and surroundings.
You don't have to stay an addict my friend dont let anyone tell you different none of us are nothing more than human beings who are prone to self weakness at times. Its not so much the act of back slidding that is important as it is can and will you get back on your feet and not allow that mess up too turn into an every day downward spiral of bad behavior.
You can be you again without telling yourself you are something that you despise and deplore. "an addict"
