Another casualty
 

Just found out a guy that stayed in the bando with me when I was homeless was found dead in another bando 2 weeks ago. The girl that found him is the same one who was the only one who helped and stayed with me when I was stabbed 3 yrs ago. She has been homeless and using heavy for a few years now. I can't imagine how all that wouldn't make her want to stop. She told me she nightmares for months after seeing me get stabbed 10 times. Then I have to think. That could have very well been me very soon had I not left and came home. It's so sad how addiction can end. It's even sadder that we witness this s*** and doesn't phase us to do something with ourselves before it happens to us.

Trish - so sorry about your friend. I'm really glad you did what was best for YOU and came home:)

You got stabbed, I got choked and beat up yet we are here today and I believe there is a reason for that.
