Unhappy WTH, odd for day 14

K, I'm at day 14 off suboxone. Out of the blue about an hour ago I got nailed with full body shakes, sweats and tossed my lunch. Still shaking like a leaf and pouring g sweat. WTH, anyone?

Yuck. I have no experience w/ that but I have read about people who cold turkeyed off of a high amount that went into w/ds like 2 weeks later..

I guess it was built up in their system. Sorry u feel crappy.

Hey, yeah, about a four hour reminder of hell then it faded, in hindsight I guess a good reminder but an unwelcome scary bit.

Thanks Neverkamichael, baby steps

I did TONS of research on Suboxone, and afterwards I was absolutely certain that I would NEVER -- as in never in a freaking million years -- use it.

Suboxone is notorious for causing the worst and lengthliest withdrawals of any opiate. As in a month or more. Do some searches of this board and you will find a very large number of people who consider suboxone just about the worst drug when it comes to cost of quitting.

Druwyd, is it possible that you ate something that was bad? I've had those exact symptoms from food poisoning.

Thanks Strat, well then I've avoided being a Suboxone statistic for the most part. But for the "ambush" or surprise w/d on day 14, that lasted about four hours, I'm feeling pretty good.

Damsel, it's sure possible and that didn't occur to me, so wrapped up with obsessing about w/d. Hmm, thanks!
