So I'm still doing good. Just focusing in work and life. Mr crackhead moved on and got his new girlfriend pregnant... Thanking god for my blessings on that one.

I have recently giving me Xanax another chance and its been going pretty good since July.. He is no longer on any meds and he is the person I knew he was!!! I still think about getting high sometimes but the length of time without it and what I have accomplished since May is so much more worth what I went through in the beginning of the year.

Mr Xanax...

Are you taking Xanax?

There was a very bad report on that benzo a few days ago here in Melbourne.

Hey Omnom - good for you on letting go of Mr. Crackhead. I know that I have to be very wary of anything "mood altering" and I used to abuse the heck out of xanax about 15 years ago.

Now that I'm in recovery, I find myself on it again but ONLY after being totally up front and honest with my dr. and developing PTSD from something. I don't run out early, I use it as directed (mostly for sleep) and I keep recovery first.

This is NOT medical advice, this is what works for me, in my life, with the approval of two different doctors (my first one left the practice, his replacement is much tougher:) ).

No I wasn't and I am not on Xanax.. The guy I have been dating in and off was on it earlier in the year when I was going through my struggles with crack cocaine.. He wasn't using it correctly and he was a mess himself.. He's no longer taking them.
