I stopped counting! I'm so sober I stopped counting the days, weeks and months and missed my 13 month anniversary, yay! |
LOL! Congratulations! :c011: I don't count days, either. I know my anniversary date, but that's all. |
So cool!!!!!!!! I am beyond proud of you, and can not wait to be there! I am 4.5 months opiate free. |
Nothin' better than getting really, really locked into sobriety - this often happens around 1 year, or shortly after. The end of the long process of the brain repairing itself (also known as PAWS) helps to create a feeling of peace and stillness within-- no longer counting days is just one manifestation of this. |
Well done I am very close to 12 months. |
Thanks for sharing your clean time with us! I don't count days either, too busy living. I don't want to spend my time focusing on what I am not doing. I want to be busy DOING things that are worthwhile. Counting, for me, was counter productive, but I DO understand and respect that it helps others stay focused and bouyant. |
great job, keep up the good work. :c011: |
I like to count them but I will go days without thinking about it. When I look at the calendar to check my schedule, it reminds me. Really I just know when the 15th of the month rolls around, that's another month. To me it is something I am doing! I love sobriety. Congratulations!:c011: |
I have also stopped counting days but make a mental note every month. Nice one with 13 months clean :ring |
