Day 1- let the recovery begin!
 

hi all- I figured I would start a new thread as my other one was me going backand forth on if I can quit weed or not.
Here I go on day one. this is my thousandth or so attmept. But this time I am going to go to a meeting tomorrow for the first time (NA) so hopefully that will start some good support for me. I am also frequenting the MA website and have gone to 2 online MA meetings so far.
I feel more committed to recovery than ever before and am looking forward to a new way of living.

I meant to post this in the newcomer section- I think I am just going to post this again over there!

Welcome. I went to my first meeting a couple weeks ago. Literally has been changing my life. Now I go 4 times a week. Going tonight and I can't wait!

Congrats and God Bless Being sober is amazing. I am 36 days today off pain pills.
