hmmm where do i start
a year went by and i diddent sign in to my account here
i have to say i did re lapse
however....
im clean 6 days now and im back on suboxone
please pray for me that i stay clean this time around!

7th day clean......
A whole week......
currently taking 2 8mg sub per day.......
1 in the morning.......
1 at night......
most of you know this is my 2nd time around sub detoxing....
im kinda embaressed that i failed the first time around.....
oh well this time will be different...............

update
hello everyone just letting everyone know im still clean! ive never felt better!!!!!!
i havent been checking in because ive been working im in harrisburg pa right now and will be for 3 months well will be updating everyday hope all is well

Ive been thinking about my recovery lately and all the gifts it has brung! ya know all of my prayers is coming true DUE to SOBRIETY! I prayed for things to get better while i was using and it never did......And all of a sudden it hit me!
To be blessed you have to live right and do the right thing!!!
then folks let me tell you doors open up for ya....
i know they have for me!
However Im still taking suboxone but im down to a half of a 4mg pill a day....my doctor thinks in a few months i can be off of suboxone....well see? .Ive FAILED 2 times before!! im so afraid of failing again But i have sooo much to lose!
I do struggle let me tell you i struggle everyday just today i was walking out of target and i stopped to smoke a cigarette and i seen a whole drug deal go down right before my eyes....
lol i mean if i was a cop they would of been busted lol anyways 3 guys pulled up in a caddy 1 guy got out walked up to the other car parked(lol)
and got in
got out
well you can figure out the rest....anyway my heart dropped and i wanted to get high! im not gonna lie....ya know what i did ran back to my car called my sponsor and went to eat with him we ended up praying for them! folks my point is LIFE IS GREAT WHEN YOUR CLEAN!` sorry for rambling....anywas stay strong!

Hello MrPhreez, Welcome back to SR. I'm glad your working on getting clean again. That's awesome and congratulations. Relapse is a very big part of addiction. Staying clean is about doing the right things, and changing everything in your past. You will stay clean this time. The only thing that requires is that you want to be clean, and you are willing to do the year of feeling not so great, until your brain goes back to normal and starts making its own feel good chemicals again. I have almost 6 years clean from opiate addiction. It's a tough road in early recovery. You cannot stay with other people who use. You need to work and keep really busy. Keep your mind occupied. The only thing you have to change is everything. It's up to you. If I can do it, anyone can. Wishing you a speedy recovery, and all of GOD'S blessings.

Just wanted to say good luck and keep going you can do it! I now have 90 days clean off oxys and I went cold turkey. I feel normal again(but what is normal really
